Board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Jason S. Taub is Medical Director of Spinal Deformity and Spinal Oncology. His specialties include scoliosis, adult spinal deformity and complex reconstructive spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery and spinal oncology with special interests in kyphosis, complex revision surgeries, tumors, and post-traumatic reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Taub received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and attended medical school at Emory University in Atlanta, GA where he graduated at the top of his class. He completed his residency in neurological surgery at Emory where he served as Chief Resident. Following his residency, he completed a combined fellowship in neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery at Cleveland Clinic, with focused training in minimally invasive and reconstructive techniques for the full spectrum of spinal disorders, including degenerative, tumor, trauma, rheumatologic, and infectious processes. He combines the latest technology to provide less destructive solutions for better results.
In his practice, Dr. Taub focuses on nonsurgical alternatives, such as physical therapy which allows most patients to avoid surgery. Dr. Taub is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, AO Spine, Texas Medical Association, and Dallas County Medical Association.
